How about investing in a candle that serves more than one purpose? Besides smelling good and recreating a spa environment, these beauties — in three flavours—can be used for a massage or as a scrub. We are referring to SeaSoul’s new treatment candles, that will be launched today at a John Gray event at Taj Coromandel. Manisha Chopra, a hair and make-up expert from Sydney, is bringing these candles to the country, with the first launch in Chennai.

3 to go

The candles come in three variants — a soothing Sweet Passion with dominant grapefruit notes, a fresh and tangy Zesty Temptation that helps you recharge, and a seductive Coco Bliss that is suited for intimate sessions with your partner. “The Coco Bliss is particularly popular among men and as a uni-sex product,” explains Chopra. All you have to do is light the candle and use the warm liquid that pools around the wick as a massage oil or scrub. With about 26 essential minerals from the Dead Sea, the candles come in a standard 160 gms size and can last from two to five massage sessions.

Priced from Rs 1,200 onwards and available at select salons and the web-site, from March 15.
