Statewide stir threatened

The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Saturday threatened that it would launch a Statewide agitation if former minister Raghunath Mohanty, facing dowry torture charges, is not arrested within next 24 hours.

OPCC general secretary Sabitri Sahu referred to one of the campaign points of the Chief Minister, ‘Ma ku Samman’ and alleged that it was only an election stunt. She also questioned the Chief Minister’s decision to refer the case to the HRPC.
