Cops recover Maoist explosives

A huge cache of explosives was seized from a farm house during a raid by a joint team of BSF and local police in MV-81 under Motu police limits on Sunday. On a tip off, security forces raided the farm house of one Sukumar Bairagi and recovered the explosives which included  1,727 detonators and four mobile phones.

On Saturday too, police had raided the farm house of Jali Pati at Kusanpalli village and seized 592 gelatin sticks which were packed in three packets. Jali and Sukumar have been arrested. Police said they were supplying the explosives to Maoists.
