Around 520 units of blood was collected at a blood donation camp organised by DRIEMS institute here on Friday.
While 302 units were donated by the Degree Engineering students, 124 units by trainees under ITC wing and 94 units by Diploma Engineering and Management wing. The camp was inaugurated by the Founder Chairman of DRIEMS Pramod Chandra Rath.
Emphasising on importance of voluntary blood donation Rath said DRIEMS is the highest donor among its peer institutes.
