BHUBANESWAR: The meritorious students of Class XII of DAV Public School, Unit VIII, were felicitated by the school for bringing laurels to the institution through their academic performance in AISSCE 2013-2014.
The ceremony started with plantation of saplings on the school campus by Orissa High Court Justice Debabrata Dash. The State rank holders, school toppers and subject toppers in Std XII Science and Commerce streams and KVPY achievers were also awarded with merit certificates and mementos. A special token of appreciation was awarded to budding scientists of the school Amrit Sahu and Aamlan Saswat Mishra of Std X for their exceptional and exemplary achievement in the field of Science.
School Principal Bhagyabati Nayak congratulated the achievers. Chairman of the School Managing Committee Madan Mohan Panda spoke on the occasion.
