OJEE Announces Dates for Document Verification

BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will conduct document verification for BTech course under Outlying Odia (OL) category on July 20.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Main candidates, who are willing to take admission through OJEE under the OL category, can opt for document verification on July 20 and 21.

Three per cent of the seats are reserved for Odia students who are currently residents of other States, but have been deprived of studying in Odia. The seats are reserved only in Government engineering colleges.

Besides, document verification for the candidates applying for admission into BTech and BArch courses under physically challenged (PC) category will begin from July 16.

The candidates applying under PC category will have to appear before OJEE’s Medical Board, which will examine the extent of disability in each candidate, an OJEE official said.

The Board will examine the candidates from 9 am to 5 pm. Based on the report of the Medical Board, admission under PC category will be conducted.

The document verification for JEE Main rank holders between one and 2,00,000 under PC category will be conducted on July 16. Similarly, for rank holders between 2,00,001 and 4,00,000, document verification will take place on July 17 and for rank holders between 4,00,001 and 6,00,000, verification will take place on July 18.
