KIMS Offers 85 pc Seats for Odias

BHUBANESWAR: Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) will admit 85 per cent students from Odisha into its MBBS and BDS courses. KIMS founder Achyuta Samanta on Wednesday assured the State Government of taking in maximum local students into the medical streams at a meeting with Health Secretary PK Mohapatra.

The development will come as a huge relief to the Government as the Medical Council of India has refused renewal of 100 seats of Sardar Rajas Medical College and Hospital at Jaring.
