BJP Questions Parida's Appointment

BHUBANESWAR: President of the State BJP unit KV Singhdeo on Tuesday questioned the appointment of Tejeswar Parida as the Chairman of Odisha Khadi and Gramodyog Board.

Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Singhdeo said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had said in a written reply to a question from him that Parida has been charge-sheeted in three cases. The cases were filed after complaints from Patkura Tehsildar and BDO, Singhdeo said and asked why Parida has not been arrested by police in spite of the criminal cases pending against him.
