Dacoity at Niladri Vihar

BHUBANESWAR: Armed dacoits broke into the house of a businessman at Niladri Vihar under Chandrasekharpur police limits late on Wednesday and decamped with gold jewellery worth lakhs of rupees.

Anupam Agarwal, the complainant said, at least six masked persons broke into his house and overpowered him and his wife. After gagging them, the dacoits looted gold ornaments worth about ` four lakh and fled.

The five were identified as Anil Kumar Nayak, Lingaraj Pera, Jitendra Swain, Sarat Chandra Mohanty and Mithun Mohanty.

Mithun, police said, is wanted in an offence in Aska.
