BHUBANESWAR : A 21-year-old BBA student was found dead under mysterious circumstances in GGP Colony of the City early on Thursday. He has been identified as Gagan Behari Choudhury.

While Mancheswar Police has begun investigation, father of the deceased alleged that his son was murdered. His body was found near the building where he was staying as a paying guest. He had moved out for a couple of days and was staying with a friend.

His father Pitabas Choudhury, a resident of Kandhamal’s K Nuagaon area, said he received a call from the landlord of his son on Thursday morning informing him about the incident.

When he reached Bhubaneswar, his son’s body was lying at Capital Hospital awaiting post-mortem.

“Given the circumstances under which my son was found dead, it is a case of murder,” he said. Mancheswar police quizzed a female member of the landlord’s family.
