PURI: The District Congress Committee on Sunday strongly condemned the delay in Brahma Parivartan ritual of the four deities.
Speaking to mediapersons here vice-president of DCC Jaynarayan Patnaik and DCC member Nrusingh Charan Sahu alleged gross misutilisation of funds in infrastructure development for the festival. They alleged that the ruling party politicians besides engineers and contractors have siphoned off over `600 crore meant for infrastructure development works in the town. The Congress leaders announced to launch an agitation demanding probe and said they would observe fast protesting the disturbance in Brahma Parivartan.
