One Held, Fake Notes Seized

JAGATSINGHPUR: One person was arrested by Raghunathpur police and 90 fake notes of `100 denomination were seized on Sunday when he tried to encash `100 fake note in Raghunathpur market.

The accused has been identified as Deepak Parida (32) of Osakana village under Balikuda police limits. Sources said on receiving information, police rushed to the spot and arrested him. Though he tried to throw away fake notes from his pocket into a nearby canal, but the notes fell on its embankment and were seized by police.
