NSUI Protests

BHUBANESWAR:  The State unit of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) on Tuesday criticised the BJD leaders for defending the detention of students of Rama Devi Women’s University during the visit of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to the varsity on Thursday.

Stating that citizens have a right to protest in a democracy, members of Chhatra Congress criticised BJD MLA Priyadarshi Mishra for describing the RD Women’s University students as human bombs. Condemning such attitude of the BJD leaders, the Chhatra Congress leaders have demanded their resignation.
