SALEPUR: A contractual employee of Bhubaneswar-based private firm, who was engaged in taking photographs for  Aadhaar cards, has been accused of molesting three minor girls at Sithalo gram panchayat (GP) office under Niali block.

According to an FIR filed on Wednesday by Sarada Prasanna Behera, father of the three girls, in Niali police station, while digitising finger prints for Aadhaar cards, the employee molested his two 13-year-old twin daughters.

The accused also molested his 11-year-old third daughter, the FIR maintained.

The employee Narayan Giri (25) of Baripada has been detained by  Niali police for interrogation.

On the other hand, Giri denied the charges by stating that while taking finger prints, his elbow unintentionally touched the body of the girls.  Police said Giri would be arrested if the allegation is found to be true.  They are also questioning other persons present at the spot during the incident.
