BARGARH :A Maoist poster was found from Project UGUP School in Kalangapali village under Bargarh Sadar police limits on Monday. The ultras protested the Polavaram dam project and issued threat to Special Security Officers (SPOs) in the district through the poster.
The school is located close to the Bargarh Reserve Police Line, which houses the armoury and barracks of SOG jawans.
The poster was noticed by teachers who informed the police. Bargarh SDPO NC Dansena said police have seized the poster and further investigation into the matter is on.
However, Bargarh SP Ashis Singh said it appears to be the handiwork of miscreants.
