Cong Leader Quits Party

SAMBALPUR:Sambalpur District Bar Association (SDBA) president Mohammad Sabir Ahmed resigned from the post of general secretary of District Congress Committee (DCC) as well as primary membership of the party on Tuesday.

Ahmed said despite being a veteran member of the party, he was forced to quit due to the whimsical functioning of the DCC. He said his resignation has been forwarded to president of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC).
