Camp Busted in Nuapada

NUAPADA:A joint team of CRPF and SOG busted a Maoist camp and seized two tiffin bombs in the forest near Bhottha village under Dharambandha police limits on Saturday. Besides the tiffin bombs, a blanket, medicines, grocery, dry food and Maoist literature were seized from the camp.

Sources said the Maoists left the camp after seeing the security forces approaching.

Commandant of 216 battalion of the CRPF, Mahesh Kumar said  the security forces stumbled upon the camp during routine combing operation.

Combing Intensified

Angul: Two days after Maoists hacked a villager to death in Pallahara of Angul district suspecting him to be a police informer, security forces on Saturday intensified combing operation in Angul-Keonjhar border areas to nab the maoists. Angul SP Rajesh Pandit Uttam Rao said combing operation has been stepped up to flush out the Maoists.
