Drone Crashes in Ganjam Village

BERHAMPUR: Panic gripped the villagers of Borigaon after a drone of Army Air Defence College (AADC), Golabandha, crashed in a forest near their village under Digapahandi police limits on Wednesday evening.

The unmanned aerial vehicle was being used to train Army officers when they lost control over it. Though the officers came to know the location of the crashed drone in a forest, they could not retrieve it due to darkness.

On Thursday, the damaged drone was recovered from the forest around eight kms from Borigaon and taken to AADC.

The villagers panicked when they found the object flying at a low height before crashing in the forest near the village.

As the news spread about the alien object, Digapahandi police and fire fighters rushed to the spot only to find out that it was a drone.
