PURI:  With several measures being taken as part of Nabakalebara of the Trinity of Jagannath Temple here, a decision to repair the forehead ornament (Ratna Chita) was taken at a recent meeting of the temple managing body.

The repair was necessitated as the forehead ornaments studded with precious stones had worn out.

For the purpose, temple administration has issued 200 grams of gold and two experienced jewellers from Cuttack have been engaged from Monday. The work is being carried out in presence of temple officers, Deula Karan and temple treasurer amidst tight security.

It was decided to take up the repair now as the deities in ‘Anasara Ghara’ do not use the ornaments.
