Four Union Ministers to Unveil Puri Fest Projects Today

BHUBANESWAR: Four Union Ministers will visit the State on July 9 to unveil various programmes ahead of the Nabakalebara Rath Yatra which will be observed on July 18.

Union Transport and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari will dedicate the four-laning of Bhubaneswar-Puri National Highway (NH) 203 near Pipili to public on Thursday.

After his arrival at Rourkela in a special flight on Thursday, Gadkari will lay foundation stones for second Brahmani Bridge in Rourkela and Birmitrapur-Barkote NH 143. The people of Rourkela have been demanding construction of the bridge for over a decade.

Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram and Rourkela MLA Dilip Ray will attend the programme.

On Friday, Gadkari will proceed to Paradip where he will review the progress of inland waterways and performance of Paradip Port. The two Union Minister from the State, Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan, will accompany Gadkari to Paradip.

Union Telecom and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will lay the foundation stone of Baramuna Post office on Thursday. He will launch Wi-Fi services in Puri on the same day. He will also hold a joint review meeting of senior officers of postal service, communication and IT before his departure to New Delhi.
