BHUBANESWAR: The Urban Development Department on Monday approved the proposal of Bhubaneswar-Puri Transport Services Limited (BPTSL) for plying additional buses during Rath Yatra.
While city-bus service operator Dream Team Sahara (DTS) had proposed to operate 47 additional buses between the Capital and Puri, the Department has left it to BPTSL to decide the number of vehicles which would be pressed into service.
With the Government’s consent for inclusion of more buses during the car festival, the fleet would rise up to 60, sources said.
