Naveen, Pyari Share Stage

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his one time close confidante turned bitter political adversary MP Pyari Mohan Mohapatra on Thursday shared the same dias three years after they fell out. The two were seen at a function at Begunia in Khurda district during inauguration of a passenger train on the Khurda Road-Begunia section of the Khurda-Balangir rail line. The two estranged leaders neither had an eye contact nor exchanged any greetings during their first ever meeting after May 29, 2012 aborted coup attempt by Mohapatra. Dubbed as the modern day Chanakya and main architect behind the success of the Biju Janata Dal in the State, Mohapatra was expelled from the party for his anti-party activities in November 2012 by Patnaik.
