SALEPUR: Unidentified miscreants on Sunday night looted `99,181 from Kendupatana branch of State Bank of India (SBI) under Salepur police limits.
Police said miscreants, who had entered the bank by breaking a window, had disconnected the CCTV and alarm installed on the bank’s premises. Though the miscreants managed to enter the Branch Manager Ashok Kumar Patnaik’s room, they were unable to break the strong room, police added.
Investigation has been started after an FIR was filed by the Branch Manager, said Salepur IIC Prasant Kumar Majhi.
