Khallikote Varsity Will Be Modern Education Hub: CM

BERHAMPUR: The State Government has already started taking measures to make Khallikote Cluster University an educational hub of international standard. This was stated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Tuesday. He was here to lay the stone for the second campus of the university and attend the first annual function of the institution.

The Chief Minister assured the students that the Government is looking into filling up the vacant faculty positions in the university.

During his whirlwind tour to three places in Ganjam district, Berhampur, Chhatrapur and Polasara, the Chief Minister inaugurated eight different projects and laid foundation stones for five others. The major projects that were inaugurated include a new tehsil office, child development project office, block statistical office building, skill development institute at Chhatrapur, `12.87-crore new bus-terminal and around `2 crore new bus depot at Haladiapadara, on the outskirts of Berhampur.
