15 Hurt as Bus Hits Truck
More than 15 persons including women and children were injured when the bus they were travelling in met with an accident on NH-16 at Manguli Square under Tangi police limits here on Wednesday. Sources said, the Cuttack bound bus coming from Rajkanika-via-Chandikhol hit the back side of the truck which was parked on the road side. The injured persons have been rushed to SCB Medical, Cuttack.

Bike Rider Dies in Mishap
Uttam Hembram (22) was killed and another Rajesh Bhuiyan (25) sustained severe injuries when their motorcycle met with an accident near Mahipani level-crossing under Bisra police limits in Sundargarh district on Wednesday. After crossing the level-crossing, Bhuiyan lost control over the bike and both of them fell from the vehicle. While Hembram died on the spot, Bhuiyan was rushed to Rourkela Government Hospital. A case has been registered.
