PARADIP:  The BJD and BJP have finally come together, albeit in posters. With just three days left for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Paradip, the entire area is dotted with posters and banners carrying pictures of Modi, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

On behalf of Paradip Municipality, the BJD has erected posters and banners which state that the establishment of Paradip Port by Biju babu was one milestone for Paradip and Paradip Refinery, that would be dedicated by Modi, would be another.

Municipality chairman Basant Kumar Biswal said since BJD has immense respect towards the Prime Minister, his pictures have been placed on the BJD’s publicity materials unlike BJP, that usually does not place photographs of Naveen Patnaik and Odisha Governor S C Jamir.
