Prime Minister Lands in City

BHUBANESWAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the City on a two-day visit to the State in a special plane of Indian Air Force (IAF) at 11.06 pm on Saturday.

Modi was received by Governor SC Jamir, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan and senior BJP leaders at Biju Patnaik International Airport.

Modi proceeded to Raj Bhawan where he stayed for the night. He will inaugurate the NISER near Jatni in Khurda district at 9 am on Sunday. Then he will leave for Puri to pay his obeisance to Lord Jagannath at around 11 am. “Will offer prayers at the Jagannath Temple in Puri during my Odisha visit on the 7th,” Modi had tweeted.

The PM will dedicate the IOCL’s refinery at Paradip to the nation at 1 pm and address a public meeting. He will retun to Bhubaneswar and fly back to Vizag the same afternoon.
