RAYAGADA: Two persons were killed and another sustained critical injuries when a van overturned near Raghubari Ghat under Ambodola police limits on Tuesday.
The deceased are Pilababu Karkaria (32) and Ramesh Kadraka (31).
The van was on its way to Jhiripani weekly market from Ambodola when the driver lost control over it and rammed an electric pole.
The vehicle came in contact with a live wire resulting in the deaths. The driver fled from the spot.
