BHUBANESWAR: Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD of National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco), will receive the prestigious Honoris Causa DLitt from Utkal University in recognition of his “contributions towards nation building. Chand shall receive the honorary degree during the 47th Convocation of the University to be held on February 16. Incidentally, he is a gold medalist from the same University. Chand, who has more than three decades of rich experience in mining and metal sector, including eight years at helm of affairs of the companies, has made immense contributions in the areas of productivity, profitability and development of business models, including CSR & SD domain.
