College Website Hacked in Odisha

KENDRAPARA: The website of Sri Sri Bayababa College in Mahakalpada was hacked and anti-Indian slogans posted on the site for a few hours on Sunday. This is the second hacking incident this year with a similar case being reported from OUAT in January.

The college website www.ssbcmkp.org.in was hacked and messages of ‘Indian Army killing innocent people in Kashmir’ and ‘Free Kashmir’ were posted by the hacker, who identified himself as ‘Mr NitrOg3n’.

The posts, however, were deleted within a few minutes.

Principal of the college, Sarat Chandra Khatei filed an FIR at Mahakalpada police station. Khatei said some persons reported him about the website being hacked and submitted print-outs of the hacked site.

In case of OUAT, its website was hacked by an engineering student. He had admitted to have hacked the website as part of his course on ethical hacking.
