Odisha HSC Exam: 19 Booked for Malpractice in Sundargarh

ROURKELA: As many as 19 students appearing for the annual Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination  were booked for malpractice in Sundargarh district on the first day of Matriculation examination on Monday.  Sundargarh District Education Officer (DEO) DC Behera said a total of 27,808 students, including 1,700-odd ex-regulars, are taking the examination at 130 centres.

Three flying squads of the district and one central squad of the BSE are keeping vigil to check cheating.

Rayagada: Of the 10,104 students who filled up forms for the HSC examination, 203 did not appear on the first day, said District Education Officer Premananda Rout. Questions papers have been kept in the police station of Kashipur, Chandrapur and Gudari, he added.
