Firing in Bhubaneshwar: Prime Accused Arrested

BHUBANESWAR: Prime accused in the firing incident which took place at Press Colony a few days back, Manoj Behera alias Muna, was arrested from Burla in Sambalpur district on Wednesday.

Muna, a resident of Shantipalli slum in the City, went into hiding after firing at two youths, Kamalakanta Mohanty and Madhusudhan Nayak, near Sriya Talkies on Sunday night.

“Muna had taken shelter in his cousin’s house at Burla. On Wednesday afternoon, a police team raided the house and arrested Muna,” Kharvela Nagar IIC Sanjiv Satpathy said.

Efforts are on to nab the other accused Rajesh Behera alias Pintu, who is suspected to possess the weapon which was used in the crime.
