BHUBANESWAR: Describing the Railway Budget as historic, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram on Thursday said that no Government at the Centre had made such a huge allocation for Odisha. Oram said out of Rs 4682 crore allocation for Odisha, Rs 2995 crore is only for doubling of railway lines. Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan said the enhanced budget provisions for Odisha have once again proved the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu for development of railway infrastructure in backward States.
