Puri Seer to Inaugurate Krishnamurty School

CUTTACK: A new age concept school, ‘Krishnamurty World School’, will be inaugurated by Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati at Jaripada on outskirts of the City on Monday.

Announcing this here on Sunday, chairman of the St Xavier’s Group of Schools, Dr GS Pattnaik said the new school will offer CBSE curriculum with Indian values at international standards. This will be the 51st branch of the Group of Schools, he said.

Pattnaik said, “If India has to come up to its future expectations, then we have to bring changes in the existing pattern to provide value-based education to the students.”

Pattnaik said there can not be a better inspiration and idol of the children than Lord Krishna, the embodiment of a complete man. “The bravery of his childhood, the fight for righteousness by supporting Pandavas are some examples which can inspire the students,” he said and added, “In the process, they will gain mental, physical and moral strength which will help them become ideal citizens.”

Director of the Group of Schools PC Mohanty said admission will start from the 2016-17 academic year for Montessori to Class VII. The school will take in students upto Class IX from next academic year, he said and added that students will be admitted upto Class XII subsequently.

The school will have co-education and provide day-cum-residential facilities. The campus will have facilities for Satsang, meditation, yoga and prayers. Underscoring the need for inculcation of Sambandh, Sampark and Sanjog, Mohanty said the annual day celebrations of the school will be held on Janmastami day every year.

Mohanty said the school has infrastructure to admit 700 students from the academic year. Each of the classes will have 40 students, he said and added that if required, more sections will be added to classes.

Among others, Satyam Saraf, trustee of the group, Mukesh Saraf, chief executive officer and Pandit Matruprasad Mishra, Rashtriya Samprak Sachib of Gobardhan Math, Puri were present.
