PHULBANI: Lalchi Sahu of Balandapada village here was arrested by Gochapada police on Wednesday for allegedly killing his aunty. IIC M Pradhan said, Lalchi hacked his aunt Chanchala Sahu to death on Monday over property dispute. He was absconding after the incident. On Wednesday, police raided his house and nabbed him. Based on his confession, police recovered the axe from the outskirts of the village. Lachi was later forwarded to judicial custody.
