BJD leaders join BJP in Odisha

BJD vice-president of Khurda district Gangadhar Pradhan on Friday joined the BJP. Pradhan said he was impressed by the successful implementation.

BHUBANESWAR: BJD vice-president of Khurda district Gangadhar Pradhan on Friday joined the BJP. Pradhan said he was impressed by the successful implementation of different welfare programmes launched by the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.


Pradhan was a former Zilla Parishad member of Chilika. 

Prominent district level leaders, including Surendra Behera, Parsuram Pradhan, Mohan Barik, Gopal Patra and Dhusasan Behera along with more than 100 workers joined the BJP along with Pradhan, a release issued by BJP said.

State general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan welcomed Pradhan and other leaders to the BJP at a function at the party headquarters here. 

Party spokesperson Sajjan Sharma and Bhubaneswar district BJP president Subas Jena were present.
