Idco drive against industrial units

: The Idco has initiated action against the units which have been allotted land/shed in different Industrial Estates of the State and are defaulter in payment of ground rent, cess, water charges and annual maintenance charges. 

BHUBANESWAR: The Idco has initiated action against the units which have been allotted land/shed in different Industrial Estates of the State and are defaulter in payment of ground rent, cess, water charges and annual maintenance charges. 


A special drive has been undertaken by all Idco divisions for collection of arrear dues. Notices have been issued to all defaulters for clearance of arrear dues within 15 days failing which their lease/allotment will be cancelled, a release issued here said.


Top 10 defaulters of each Idco division have also been identified and specially served notice to clear the arrear dues within the stipulated time to avoid inconvenience.  


As against the arrear outstanding of `6.74 crore as on March 31, 2016, `3.44 crore has been collected from the defaulting units by end of January 2017.

The defaulters who have not yet cleared the outstanding dues have been requested to clear the dues immediately with accrued interest and penal interest.

The arrear dues are collected with 12 per cent interest and two per cent penal interest for the defaulting period. All dues of Idco including the outstanding dues are now payable on-line through Idco portal.
