CM Naveen Patnaik hails State cops for Skoch Award

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday congratulated Odisha police for bagging Skoch Gold Award for its dynamic web portal during the 52nd Skoch summit held at New Delhi on June 23.

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday congratulated Odisha police for bagging Skoch Gold Award for its dynamic web portal during the 52nd Skoch summit held at New Delhi on June 23. Director general of police RP Sharma along with Sanjeeb Panda, IG, state armed police (SAP), Asit Kumar Panigrahi, IG, headquarters and Amitabh Thakur, IG, law and order called on the Chief Minister at the Secretariat in the presence of Chief Secretary AP Padhi and Additional Chief Secretary in the Home department Asit Tripathy.

Congratulating the police team for the achievement, the Chief Minister advised the Odisha Police team to continue with the modernisation endeavour for providing quick and efficient services to the people. Odisha police web portal has 2900 dynamic pages and provides various police related services to the citizens. In the last four years, it had more than 15 crore visitors to its pages.
