Nehru surrenders before court

Former minister K N Nehru and four office bearers of the DMK surrendered before a Judicial Magistrate court here on Monday in a case lodged against them for putting up digital hoardings of party treasurer M K Stalin without the requisite permission. Stalin was on a visit to the city on Saturday for the party’s first parliamentary poll preparations meet and the party functionaries erected several hoardings across the city without due permission from the Corporation and the police. The police registered a case against 14 persons including Nehru. Later, they were granted bail by the judge. ENS
