LDC results out, 340 selected

Three hundred and forty candidates were provisionally selected for the Lower Division Clerks (LDC) posts after the common written competitive examination, the results of which were announced on Wednesday.

Ramajohi K (74.50 marks), Sateesh Bassa (67) and Arun Kumar (65.25) were the three toppers in the LDC list. The break up of the 507 provisionally selected candidates is LDCs (340), storekeeper grade II (115), junior clerk (28) and typist(24).

According to a government release, following an interim order of Madras Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal, 60 posts of LDCs were kept vacant till the disposal of a case by the Group C employees association. The exams were taken by 27,275 candidates in 94 centres spread in 4 regions.of Puducherry.
