Line work to hit Chennai trains

As Southern Railway would be taking up line doubling work between Mundiyampakkam and Perani, the following train services have been rescheduled on December 28, according to a release issued by Tiruchy division.

Tiruchendur-Chennai Express (16736) will be regulated at Mundiyampakkam for 170 minutes and will reach Chennai Egmore late by 160 minutes. Tiruchy-Chennai Pallavan Express (12606) will be regulated at Villupuram for 145 minutes and will reach Chennai Egmore late by 145 minutes. Chennai Egmore-Madurai Vaigai Express (12635) will leave Chennai Egmore late by 120 minutes.

Chennai Egmore-Puducherry Passenger (56037) will run upto Tindivanam. Chennai Egmore- Guruvayur Express (16127) will be regulated at Mailam for 120 minutes and will reach Villupuram late by 110 minutes.

Chennai Egmore -Tiruchchirappalli Express (16853) will be regulated at Tindivanam for 90 minutes and will reach Villupuram late by 80 minutes.
