Student wing goes cyber way

DMK student wing took the cyber route to celebrate the birthday of their party chief M Karunanidhi, who will turn 89 on Sunday, by launching a website to enable the DMK sympathisers all over the world to greet the octogenarian during his birthday.

The website (www.wishthalaivar.com), an initiative of the party student wing, was formally launched by party treasurer MK Stalin at his residence at 10 am, said student wing secretary Ela Pugalendhi.

Stalin also registered the first greeting message to his father Karunanidhi.

The party claimed that greetings were pouring in from Tamils all over the world.
