Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers MK Alagiri Friday ‘lectured’ the media on courage and charged that the press was not raising its voice against the arrest of DMK ministers by the AIADMK government.
Alagiri accused by Tamil nationalists of playing second fiddle to the Congress during the genocide of SL Tamils, charged the media with playing second fiddle to the AIADMK government.
After visiting former minister I Periyasamy who was arrested and lodged in the central prison here on charges of flouting sand quarrying norms, Alagiri told the media that the charges against the former ministers were false and baseless.
