The AIADMK government’s only achievement is filing cases and arresting senior leaders of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Rajya Sabha MP and Kanimozhi said.
“Since AIADMK came to power, the cases filed against the DMK leaders are the only achievements of the government so far,” Kanimozhi said after meeting party’s senior leader Veerapandi S Arumugam, who was detained under Goondas Act in the Vellore Central Prison for Men on Thursday. She was accompanied by her mother Rajathi Ammal.
“This is the third time, Arumugam has been arrested. He has been treated badly.” He has been bold enough to face the cases, she added. Kalaignar is worried about Arumugam’s health, she said, adding, “Thalaiavar has sent a word of care for him.”
