Four quacks were arrested by a special police team on Thursday following complaints about them from the residents of Thuthipattu, Omerbad and Kadambur ar-eas near Ambur.
Upon receiving complaints about the quacks, a special team led by SP Kayalvizhi nabbed Jayabalan (60), Premsingh (38), Omer Sheriff (38), Thuthipattu and Nirmala (43). They were found to be practicing allopathy without any qualification. Later, they were remanded.
