VELLORE: Re-tendering and auctioning for broadcasting local channels in Vellore will be held on May 17, at the Vellore Collectorate. Application forms can be collected from the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV (TACTV) Corporation or can be downloaded free from www.tenders.tn.gov.in and www.arasucable.com.

Documents such as a Cable TV registration certificate, a certificate stating two years of experience in the field from Multi System Operator (MSO), Registration Certificate for Service Tax, Licence for movies and songs, no due certificate received from the Special Tahsildar (TACTV) along with the local cable operator number, form with the registration certificate or a letter of acceptance to pay `2,000 as registration fee should be attached with the filled in application form and put in an envelope.

A demand draft from Indian Bank for `25,000, if the areas of operation are within the Corporation limit, or `10,000 if the areas are anywhere else in Vellore, should be drawn and enclosed in a separate cover.

Both covers need to be put in a big envelope, sealed and dropped in a box outside the office of PA (General) to Collector before 5 pm on May 16.
