COIMBATORE: The three-day synchronised elephant census held here ended on Thursday.
Tirunavukkarasu, District Forest Officer said, “We would compile the data and send it to the central directorate of project elephant in New Delhi.” He said that the exact data of the elephant population would be out on with in couple of months. The census was also held in other parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, AP, Maharasthra and Goa.
