THOOTHUKUDI: A fisherman was killed and another had gone missing in a mishap at sea off Thoothukudi on Monday.

E Pani Adimai (48) along with 4 fishermen _ his son Arulappan (17) and Abhishek, Dason and Sebastian _ ventured into sea on his fibre boat from Kombuthurai coast on Monday. When they were fishing 15 nautical miles off Manapad coast, the weather turned inclement and they were thrown out of the boat.

Martin, another fishermen, rescued 3 of them. He could only recover the body of Pani Adimai.
