SSLC answer sheets go missing yet again

Barely four days after a bundle of SSLC answer sheets fell off a train at Vriddhachalam in Cuddalore, another set of SSLC answer sheets went missing, this time from a bus, near Gingee in Villupuram district on Tuesday. The bundles went missing in transit from the hands of a postal employee. Police have formed four special teams to search for the missing bundle.

Sources said, “In all, 221 answer sheets of English first paper of SSLC examination went missing. Two bundles were handed over to Sathiyamangalam post office on Monday. Later, a staff of the department took the bundles to Tindivanam Railway Station to be sent to a correction centre. He took a bus from Sathiyamangalam to Tindivanam. However, he missed the bundles somewhere between the two places.” However, the matter came to light on Tuesday morning after which officers and the police rushed to the spot and conducted inquiries.
