Kanchi temple murder case adjourned

Principal District and Sessions Judge C S Murugan on Thursday adjourned the proceedings in the Sankararaman murder case to April 16. It may be recalled that the prosecution and defence lawyers had completed their arguments in the murder case.

The chief judge was to decide on the petitions by the prosecution and defence counsels on approver Ravi Subramanian, who turned hostile during the earlier hearings.

Special Public Prosecutor N Devadoss told reporters that the Judge had asked counsel C P Thirunavukarasu, appearing for Ravi Subramanian, and Special Public Prosecutor N Devadoss to submit written arguments to forward it to Madras HC.
